Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking an experienced Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) (Social Worker) in Oldham, offering an ongoing full-time locum assignment with a mix of 3–4 days in the office and community-based assessments.

In this role you will conduct assessments in the community, work with multi-disciplinary teams to develop care plans, and exercise professional judgement to safeguard service users.

Qualifications

• Conduct assessments for individuals in the community requiring mental health intervention.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement appropriate care plans.
• Exercise professional judgement and make critical decisions to safeguard and promote welfare of service users.
• Maintain comprehensive records and reports to ensure up-to-date documentation of care and treatment plans.
• Advise and guide colleagues on complex mental health issues, acting as an expert resource for best practices in emergency situations.
