Duties/Responsibilities
Location: Mobile Birmingham areas, reporting office Barnsley - Must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
Salary: Up to £43,500 per annum
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (40hrs per week)
Contract Type: Permanent

What you'll do:
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure electrical delivery is effective, efficient, and professional, satisfying customer requirements.
- Installations must comply with current regulations and be able to work as part of a team.
- Demonstrate a proven track record with project installation work post-apprenticeship.
- Have at least two years’ experience as an Electrician after completing training.
- Possess practical, productive, and engineering skills with supervisory knowledge to work independently and efficiently.
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications, requisition materials.
- Take responsibility for completing jobs properly, supervise others if required.
- Install and modify electrical components and systems, including 1st and 2nd fix, power & lighting, commissioning.
- Update administration teams on material changes.
- Perform testing and inspections for certification.
- Assist with estimates and quotations as needed.
- Follow safety rules and good engineering practices.
- Install trays, ladders, conduits as per drawings.
- Report progress and follow RAMS.
- Adhere to the Quality Management System.
- Work in secure and sensitive environments.
Person Specification
Who you'll be:
- Qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ & C&G 2382-10 18th Edition.
- C&G 2391-20 Design & Verification preferred.
- Experience with verification, inspection, and remedial works.
- Experience in commercial electrical installations and LV distribution systems.
- Experience with DC/UPS systems is advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of safe working practices and permit-to-work systems.
- Basic computer skills for using tablets and phones.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- First Aid, IPAF, PASMA certifications are advantageous; training can be provided.
- Preferably hold SMSTS, SSSTS, or IOSH.
