Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting an Approved Electrician to join our facilities management team in the UK. You will undertake electrical installation, testing and inspection to current standards while maintaining high safety and quality.

The role requires a craft qualification (City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 + AM2) and the 18th edition wiring regs. A CSCS card and a full driving licence are essential; IPAF/PASMA preferred. We offer development opportunities and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised electrical craft qualification (City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 and AM2).
• Current wiring regulations qualification (18th Edition) or equivalent.
• Valid CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• To undertake all aspects of electrical installation, testing and inspection in accordance with current regulations and building standards.
• Working in a safe and efficient manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and OCS H&S policy.

Key Hiring Criteria

• Applicant must have the right to work in the UK.
• Experience working as an Approved Electrician / Electrician within the Construction Industry post apprenticeship.
• Be familiar with all aspects of electrical installation, testing and inspection.
• IPAF & PASMA (preferred)
• Full clean driving licence

Essential Qualifications

• A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2
• The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition)
• Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.

Desirable Qualifications

• An Inspection & Testing qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
