Job summary

Nottingham College is seeking a Teaching Assistant for Apprenticeships to support learners in achieving skills, knowledge, and behaviours for their vocational course. You will plan, deliver and assess in workplace settings, managing a caseload and ensuring timely completion of e-portfolios.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 TA qualification, have sector experience in the last 5 years, and an assessing qualification or equivalent, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (minimum level 3).
• Experience within the Apprenticeships sector in the last 5 years.
• Hold an assessing qualification or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, design and deliver high quality teaching, learning and assessment in the workplace.
• Manage a caseload of apprentices and their E-portfolios with timely reviews.
• Ensure KPI targets are met, including reviews and attendance monitoring.
• Motivate apprentices to achieve excellence and higher grades.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet employer needs.
