Job summary

South Hampshire College Group is seeking an Apprenticeship Skills Advisor to join the Apprenticeships team. You will conduct workplace progress reviews, monitor apprentice development and ensure learners stay engaged and on track to achieve qualifications.

Your role supports wellbeing, career progression and embedding British Values, Prevent and EDI across the apprenticeship journey. We offer generous leave, enhanced employer pension contributions, and regular training and development

Qualifications

GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or equivalent.
Experience coaching, mentoring or reviewing learners in education, training or workplace settings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong organisational abilities.
Knowledge of safeguarding, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion principles.
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Conduct structured progress reviews with apprentices and employers.
Monitor learner progress, wellbeing and engagement.
Support apprentices to develop resilience, confidence and employability skills.
Provide careers information, advice and guidance to support long-term aspirations.
Promote safeguarding, British Values and EDI across programmes.
Maintain accurate learner records in line with funding rules.
