Job summary

Howells Recruitment is seeking an experienced Apprentice Manager based in Dunstable. The role oversees apprenticeship programmes, liaising with colleges, providers and operations to support apprentices throughout their journey.

You will manage apprenticeship funding, maximise CITB grants, maintain records and ensure timely claims, while developing a pipeline of skilled future employees for a housing repairs contractor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in apprenticeship management or coordination.
• Strong knowledge of apprenticeship funding and CITB grants.
• Experience collaborating with colleges, training providers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage apprentices from onboarding through completion, ensuring support.
• Monitor attendance, progress and performance, addressing issues.
• Coordinate with colleges and training providers to deliver training.
• Develop relationships with operational teams to support apprentices.
• Oversee funding arrangements and submit funding claims on time.
• Maintain accurate apprenticeship records and documentation.
• Provide updates to management on progress and funding.
• Help build a pipeline of skilled future employees.
