Job summary

Group 1 Automotive – Toyota Medway is offering an Apprentice Vehicle Technician role designed to train you while you work on real vehicles. You will earn while you learn and gain qualifications with brand guidance.

You will join a friendly team and contribute to servicing and fault-finding across modern cars. As part of the apprenticeship, you’ll develop customer-focused skills, log service records, and progress academically with support from the provider and the dealership.

Qualifications

• Punctuality and timekeeping are essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Great team player with strong communication skills.
• Drive to exceed targets.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science.

Responsibilities

• Servicing vehicles and carrying out checks and maintenance per brand guidelines.
• Identifying, repairing and replacing faulty components and parts.
• Liaising with Service Advisors about required repairs or vehicle work.
• Maintaining repair and service records.
• Learn and demonstrate tidiness of the work bay and surroundings.
• Consider the customer impact on any vehicle activity, with a customer-centric approach.
• Meet the academic requirements of the apprenticeship and progress with the provider.
