Job summary

Lookers is launching its Jumpstart Apprenticeship Programme within the Aftersales team. You’ll gain hands-on experience from day one and earn while you learn, joining a nationwide network with mentor support.

Open to those aged 16 or over, the programme provides training across parts, repairs and vehicle systems, with a focus on developing practical skills through a three‑year paid apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades 9–4 (A–C) in English, Maths and Science (Inspiro only).
• In Scotland, SN 5 Grades A–C in English, Maths and Science or a Technical subject.
• Predicted grades accepted with offers based on forecasts.
• Training will be delivered via a mix of online and face‑to‑face sessions.

Responsibilities

• Testing of parts and systems to ensure correct operation.
• Repair and maintenance of vehicle parts including clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes and suspension.
• Maintenance of electronic systems including on‑board entertainment systems.
• Carrying out bumper‑to‑bumper service, inspection and paperwork.
