Job summary
Lookers is offering a Jumpstart Apprenticeship Programme in Bishop's Stortford. You will gain hands-on experience from day one within a nationwide network of apprentices, supported by training and mentors to launch your career in the automotive industry.
This three-year training programme welcomes applicants aged 16 or over and focuses on delivering first-class customer service within the Aftersales team, with comprehensive training both virtually and at dedicated centres.
Qualifications
- GCSE grades 9-4 (A - C) in English, Maths and Science (Inspiro only)
- In Scotland, applicants must have or be predicted to achieve Scottish National 5 Grades A - C or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
- We accept predicted grades and conditional offers can be made based on predicted grades.
Responsibilities
- Testing of parts and systems to ensure correct working.
- Undertaking repair and maintenance of vehicle parts including clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes, and suspension.
- Maintenance of electronic systems including on board entertainment systems
- Carrying out bumper to bumper overview, service, and inspection.
- Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
