A global packaging company in Sefton offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring Print Technicians. The successful candidate will receive training to operate advanced printing machinery and cover essential aspects of printing and coating processes. This role involves skills development in plate making, ink mixing, and color matching. Working in alternating shifts, the apprenticeship is expected to last for 30 months and will prepare candidates for a fruitful career in engineering and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Crabtree Generation 3 offset printing press.
• Cover all aspects of printing & coating including plate making and ink mixing.
• Achieve skills in color matching.

Job description

Excellent opportunity to join a global packaging company. The successful candidate will be trained to operate a Crabtree Generation 3, four colour lithographic offset printing press with follow on varnish. All aspects of the printing & coating will be covered, including plate making, ink mixing & colour matching.
