Job summary

Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Trainee Therapeutic Radiographer through a 36-month apprenticeship with the University of the West of England. You will train full-time (37.5 hours/week) with protected study time and complete a BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography, qualifying for HCPC registration upon completion.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• 112 UCAS points (A-level BBC) with a science subject; or equivalent BTEC diploma.
• Level 3 qualifications or equivalent for HEI entry.

Responsibilities

• Attend mandatory academic training for the Therapeutic Radiographer Apprenticeship.
• Work as part of the team to safely deliver radiotherapy to patients.
• Develop and maintain knowledge, skills and competencies during training.
• Provide care and support to patients undergoing radiotherapy.
• After completion, obtain BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography and register with HCPC.
