Job summary

Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust in Cornwall invites applications for a Level 6 Apprentice Therapeutic Radiographer. The apprenticeship lasts 36 months, leading to a BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography with clinical training at the University of the West of England.

You will work four days a week (30 hours) with one protected study day (7.5 hours), studying toward the apprenticeship with a training provider.

Qualifications

• Evidence Maths and English GCSE grade C/4 or above; 112 UCAS points.
• A-Level BBC (112 UCAS points) or equivalent science qualification.
• Level 3 qualifications or equivalent to meet entry requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend mandatory academic training for the Therapeutic Radiographer Apprenticeship.
• Work as part of the team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of radiotherapy.
• Develop and maintain knowledge, skills and competencies for the role.
• Provide care and support to patients undergoing radiotherapy.
• Upon completion, gain BSc (Hons) Therapeutic Radiography and HCPC registration eligibility.
