Job summary

Greene King, in partnership with Lifetime Training, invites you to join as an Apprentice Team Leader at one of its Chef and Brewer pubs across England. You will lead front-of-house teams, ensure top customer service, and help create a 5-star experience for guests.

You'll learn on the job with work-based training, gain Functional Skills in English and Maths, and have a mentor in the workplace. Working 20+ hours with evenings and weekends, the apprenticeship lasts about 1 year 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence

• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with as quickly and safely as possible

As an Apprentice Team Leader you will...

What your apprenticeship includes:

• You won't need to attend college, our apprenticeships are delivered through work-based training which includes a mixture of face-to-face sessions and remote Team calls with your Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks. You will also have a mentor within the workplace to support you
• Obtain Functional Skills in English and maths, with support tailored to your needs (if you don't already have GCSEs or equivalents)
• Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach including feedback sessions.
