Job summary

Leeds City College, part of the Luminate Education Group, is recruiting an Apprentice Teaching Assistant for the Printworks Campus in Leeds. The fixed-term contract runs for 15 months and leads to a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.

The role supports learners with High Needs and SEND, helping them progress from enrolment through to progression. The post offers a structured apprenticeship, with pay scales by age: under 18 £16,012, 18-20 £21,510, 21+ £24,520 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Support learners with High Needs and SEND to thrive and progress throughout their educational journey.
• Work in classes one-to-one or in small groups to engage learners in theory, practical, English and Maths lessons.
• Collaborate with curriculum and support colleagues, teaching, assessing and giving feedback to learners.
