Job summary

Raytheon UK is seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Subcontract Analyst to start a career in procurement and supply chain while studying towards a Level 3 Apprenticeship with CIPS.

You will support procurement activities, learn contract administration, and work alongside experienced professionals with one day per week of virtual learning.

This role is fixed-term with an onboarding period, offering hands-on experience and a clear development path into procurement roles.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs (9-5 or A-C) including Maths and English.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Analytical approach with data interest.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the creation and management of purchase orders and subcontract documentation.
• Assisting with supplier onboarding, due diligence checks, and supplier performance monitoring.
• Supporting quotation and tender activities, including supplier communications and data collection.
• Maintaining procurement systems, databases, and records to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Supporting contract administration and helping track supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Producing reports and analysing procurement data to support decision‑making.
• Building effective working relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and key stakeholders across the business.
