Job summary

Thales is offering a Procurement Apprentice position in the UK, joining our centralised procurement team to gain hands-on experience in tactical buying and supplier relationships. The role combines Level 3 and Level 4 apprenticeship training, with on-the-job learning and support to develop into a procurement professional.

You will study towards a Level 3 Business Administration and then a Level 4 Procurement and Supply Apprenticeship, with two parts over three years.

Qualifications

• 2 A Levels or equivalent required.
• 5 GCSEs Grade 9-4 including Maths and English.
• Must have permission to work in the UK; security checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tactical buying and procurement activities.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and purchasing decisions.
• Engage in supplier management and maintain supplier relationships.
• Learn core procurement processes and manage purchase orders.
• Support internal stakeholders and develop customer service skills.
• Contribute to contract administration and procurement law basics.
