Job summary

ABER Electronics Limited offers an apprenticeship in Engineering and manufacturing support technician (level 3) with structured progression through production, testing and development areas. You will learn PCB assembly, antenna assembly, cable builds and ISO9001:2015 documentation while working with a small team at our Tendring site.

The program includes training through COLCHESTER INSTITUTE, with courses in engineering and manufacturing, and a 3 year 6 month duration.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including Maths and English (A*-C/9-4) are essential.
• Strong communication and attention to detail required.
• Willingness to learn across engineering and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Soldering PCBs to high standard, including fine pitch parts (SMT).
• Quality checking own and others' work.
• Assembling units with PCBs, cables and mechanical parts.
