Job summary

Superdrug is seeking an Apprentice Sales Assistant at our Twickenham store. You’ll be at the heart of the action, serving customers with a smile, sharing Star Buys, and ensuring a great exit experience for every shopper.

The role offers hands-on training in-store for 12 months, with full support from your team and tutor to complete a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship and develop toward future Team Leader opportunities.

Qualifications

• GCSE grade 4/C in English and maths (or equivalent).
• Not currently in any form of education and available for full-time shifts.
• HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Brand new to retail.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and share Star Buys.
• Keep the store looking its best and fully stocked.
• Help smash store targets and support team goals.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you'll be right at the heart of the action-serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!
You’ll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.
It's a hands-on, fast-paced role that's never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we'll give you everything you need to grow-with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.
Your training will take place in-store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

What you'll bring to the role:
A positive mindset & clear communication skills
Passionate about health & beauty and customer service
Desire to learn and improve your knowledge/skills
Flexible in working hours and adaptable to change

You qualify if...

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4's for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
