Job summary

Superdrug in Twickenham is seeking an Apprentice Sales Assistant to be at the heart of our store, serving customers with a smile while sharing Star Buys and helping keep shelves stocked.

This hands-on, fast-paced role includes in-store training over the first 12 months toward a Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship, with progression opportunities and real earnings tracked via Stream.

The role offers 39 hours per week, flexible shifts, and benefits such as up to 28 days holiday and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and maths (Grade 4/C) or equivalent.
• Not currently in any education and available for full-time shifts.
• Haven’t completed a Retail Apprenticeship before.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• Brand new to retail.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and share Star Buys.
• Keep the store looking its best and fully stocked.
• Help smash store targets and contribute to sales.
• Complete in-store training toward Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship.
• Receive support from team and tutor throughout training.

As an Apprentice Sales Assistant at Superdrug, you’ll be right at the heart of the action—serving customers with a smile, sharing our amazing Star Buys, and making sure everyone leaves feeling great!

You’ll help keep the store looking its best and fully stocked, while playing a key role in smashing store targets.

It’s a hands‑on, fast‑paced role that’s never boring and packed with chances to learn. We see our Apprentice Sales Assistants as future Team Leaders, and we’ll give you everything you need to grow—with brilliant training, and real opportunities to progress.

Your training will take place in‑store over the first 12 months, so no college days and no homework! At the end of your training period, you will complete a discussion around your experiences and an observation of you performing your role. You will be supported throughout by your team and your tutor to achieve your Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship

You qualify if…

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4’s for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN’T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail
