Job summary

Superdrug Stores Plc is recruiting for an Apprentice Sales Assistant. You’ll be at the heart of the store, serving customers with a smile and sharing our Star Buys to help everyone leave feeling great.

The role offers extensive on-job training, development toward Retailer Level 2 Apprenticeship, and a clear path to future Team Leader roles within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (English and Maths) at grade 4/C or equivalent.
• Not currently in education and available for full-time shifts.
• New to retail with no prior Retail Apprenticeship completed.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers with a smile and provide helpful advice.
• Showcase Star Buys and keep the store fully stocked and tidy.
• Support store targets through hands-on, fast-paced daily tasks.

• You have a grade 4 / C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and maths (national 4's for Scotland)
• You are not currently in any form of education, and you are available for full time shifts
• You HAVEN'T completed a Retail Apprenticeship before
• You are eligible to work in the UK
• You are brand new to retail, + You need to have at least 5 Grade 4 / C GCSE's (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
• You must not be enrolled in any form of education and must be available for full-time shifts.
• You must not have previously completed a Retail Apprenticeship.
• You must be eligible to work in the UK.
• This program is for individuals who are new to the retail sector. 3.
• You need to have at least 5 Grade 4 / C GCSE's (or equivalent) including English and Maths with one at least one full level 3 qualification.
• You must not be enrolled in any form of education and must be available for full-time shifts.
• You must not have previously completed a Team Leading Apprenticeship.
• You must be eligible to work in the UK.
• A minimum of 9 months of retail experience is required. 4.
