Job summary

South & East Lincolnshire Councils Partnership offers apprenticeship opportunities in construction and property maintenance with the Housing Repairs Team at South Holland District Council. You will learn hands-on across trades, including electrical, carpentry, plastering and plumbing, with one day per week at Stamford College.

Working with our Housing Repairs Team at South Holland District Council you will learn hands on across a wide range of trades, including electrical, carpentry, plastering and plumbing trades. With one day release per week at Stamford College, we are looking for a motivated individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn whilst contributing to the ongoing success of our internal repairs team


As an apprentice, you will:



  • Learn practical construction and maintenance skills in a supportive working environment.

We are looking for a dedicated leader with significant experience in property repairs, maintenance and construction-based health and safety.


You will:



  • Hold GCSE equivalent level 4/C in Maths and English

  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Be reliable, enthusiastic and motivated

  • Work well as part of a team

  • Have good communication skills
