Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is recruiting for an Apprentice Regulatory Compliance Support Officer in Avonmouth, United Kingdom. You will join a team of Enforcement professionals, supporting DVSA objectives and ensuring compliance with road safety standards.

You will be working in a team of Enforcement professionals, supporting DVSA’s and objectives. The role involves communicating with a range of people via different methods, to ensure compliance with road safety standards, making appropriate decisions and recommendations for suitable levels of follow up. You will conduct tasks in relation to the light vehicle MOT scheme, HGV and PSV schemes and work with a team of Remote Enforcement Office (REO) Compliance Officers and examiners to deliver enforcement products, supporting the delivery of DVSA’s key Business targets. The Remote Enforcement Office provides national coverage, supporting other enforcement schemes and processes within DVSA, in line with the strategies.

Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:

• Learn, understand and deliver remote enforcement products
• Conduct tasks in relation to the light vehicle MOT scheme
• Gather and analyse information from customers, external partners and colleagues across the organisation
• Engagement and involvement as part of the regional and national REO Teams.
