Job summary

Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) is seeking an Apprentice Regulatory Compliance Support Officer. The role supports enforcement teams to ensure road safety standards are met and involves working across light vehicle MOT, HGV and PSV schemes with the Remote Enforcement Office for national coverage.

(This role is suitable for hybrid working)

Salary: £27,631 - A Civil Service Pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%

You will be working in a team of Enforcement professionals, supporting DVSA’s and objectives. The role involves communicating with a range of people via different methods, to ensure compliance with road safety standards, making appropriate decisions and recommendations for suitable levels of follow up. You will conduct tasks in relation to the light vehicle MOT scheme, HGV and PSV schemes and work with a team of Remote Enforcement Office (REO) Compliance Officers and examiners to deliver enforcement products, supporting the delivery of DVSA’s key Business targets. The Remote Enforcement Office provides national coverage, supporting other enforcement schemes and processes within DVSA, in line with the strategies.
