Job summary

Croudace Homes Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveying Technician Apprentice to join our team in Theale as a Level 4 apprentice. You’ll work with the Commercial team on cost reporting, subcontractor payments, tenders, and project documentation while studying for a recognised qualification.

You’ll visit live sites, collaborate with Surveyors, Site Managers and Estimators, and build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 (C) or above.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A willingness to learn and develop within a commercial construction environment.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A genuine interest in construction, commercial management or quantity surveying.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing subcontractor payments and tender enquiries.
• Monitor project costs and process variations.
• Maintain project documentation and produce cost reports.
• Support site visits to monitor progress and liaise with surveyors and managers.
• Develop practical experience while working towards a recognised qualification.
