Job summary

Tithegrove Limited is offering an apprenticeship in construction, based in Taunton. You will work with our commercial team, learning to manage costs and support projects, with on-the-job training and college study provided.

You will earn while you learn over a 2-year program, gaining practical experience through site visits and working closely with Quantity Surveyors on cost control and procurement. This apprenticeship prepares you for a career in construction management.

Qualifications

• GCSE English 4/C or above (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Supporting Quantity Surveyors with commercial management of construction projects.
• Assisting with measuring quantities and preparing cost estimates.
• Prepare and review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Processing subcontractor and supplier payments.
• Assisting with valuations, applications for payment and cost reporting.
• Assisting with tendering and procurement activities; collaborate with site teams.
• Learning to manage budgets and maintain project records.
• Attending site visits to gain practical construction experience.
• Developing knowledge of construction contracts, costs and commercial management.

What You'll Do
