Job summary

Sanctuary Care is offering an Apprentice Property Maintenance Operative position at Bartley Green Lodge, Birmingham. You will train hands-on while contributing to the care home’s upkeep and resident comfort, with a supported development path.

The role requires a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks. You’ll join a structured apprentice programme and gain practical skills from day one.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent qualifications), including English and Maths.
• If you are under 19 and do not hold the required GCSE grades, you will need to complete Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths.
• Strong practical abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
• A willingness to take on hands-on, physically demanding work.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

Your role
