Job summary

Sanctuary Care is looking for an Apprentice Property Maintenance Operative at Lime Tree Court Residential Care Home in Bilston, Wolverhampton. This Maintenance Apprentice role is 39 hours per week, paying £19,468.80 per annum, and starts through Sanctuary Care’s apprenticeship programme.

You’ll learn on the job, gain practical skills, support residents, and have the chance to progress with funded training and a team that values development.

Your role

As an Apprentice, you'll learn while you work, gaining hands on experience in a caring, supportive environment. You'll be part of a team that enriches residents' daily lives, building your confidence and skills as you go. This is a role where you can grow, try new things and make a meaningful difference from day one.

Your skills

• A minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent qualifications), including English and Maths.
• If you are under 19 and do not hold the required GCSE grades, you will need to complete Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths. Applicants aged 19 or over can choose to complete Functional Skills or opt out.
• Strong practical abilities and effective problem-solving skills.
• A willingness to take on hands-on, physically demanding work.
• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
