Job summary

Lloyd Motor Group in Carlisle is offering an Apprentice Parts Advisor role with Jaguar Land Rover. This permanent, full-time apprenticeship combines off-the-job training with on-the-job learning, and you will gain a nationally recognised qualification on completion.

You will handle stock, assist customers, maintain stores, participate in stock checks, and benefit from generous annual leave, staff parking, and healthcare support as part of a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades 4 or above in English, Maths and two other subjects (or equivalent qualifications)

Responsibilities

• Serve and issue stock to both internal & external customers ensuring the parts department standards are met.
• Receive, correctly identify and warehouse incoming stock and advise management if stock is low.
• Ensure best practice housekeeping standards are maintained for both stores and retail section of the Parts Department.
• Promote and practice Parts Management initiatives when speaking to customers.
• Participate in the annual formal stock check.

Training

Qualification: Level 2 Customer Service

Apprentices receive their off-the-job training at the state-of-the-art Manufacturer's Training Centre. This guarantees consistent training across the UK and enables our apprentices to study the most up-to-date products and technology. During the course, the training is conducted in both workshops and classroom settings.
