Unum UK is offering an Operations Support Apprenticeship in our Modern Workplace team. This entry-level IT apprenticeship focuses on learning to support colleagues with everyday technology, including Microsoft 365, meeting room tech and ServiceNow ticket handling.

No prior IT experience is required, and the program begins in December 2026 in the UK. You will work under guidance to develop practical technical skills, customer service confidence and professional work habits while gaining hands-on

Competenze

• Maths & English at Level 2 to support learning and communication.
• A Relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g., IT or technology subject) to support progression.
• Be available for full-time work from December 2026 when apprenticeship starts.
• Have lived in the UK or EEA for at least 3 years by December 2026.
• Eligible to work full-time in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship.

Mansioni

• Handle support requests and review incidents in ServiceNow with guidance.
• Provide first-line IT support in person and remotely, escalating when needed.
• Assist with devices setup, asset records and basic equipment checks.
• Build knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Outlook and Teams queries.
• Support meeting room technology and audiovisual equipment as required.
• Use approved remote tools to resolve straightforward tech issues.
• Record actions taken and update tickets, noting escalation when necessary.
• Contribute to simple knowledge articles and user guidance.
• Provide on-site support at offices and tech bars, logging or resolving queries.
