Job summary

GTG Training is recruiting for an Apprentice Mechanic in Fauldhouse, Scotland. This Modern Apprenticeship lets you work full time while you learn, earning while you gain hands-on experience in a training environment.

You will study to achieve SCQF Level 7 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and attend centre training blocks. Throughout the 3-year programme, GTG mentors will guide you, with regular assessments in your own workplace to ensure you gain the required skills and complete the

Responsibilities

• Be based in the garage workshop learning all aspects of vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Assist with servicing and MOT preparation, removal, replacement and overhauls of major components.
• Develop skills in electrical fault diagnostics and component troubleshooting.
• Adhere to health and safety and maintain good housekeeping in the workplace.
