A leading property management firm in Birmingham is seeking a full-time Management Surveyor. The role focuses on overseeing a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, providing landlords and tenants specialized advice on lease obligations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Candidates should have 96 UCAS points and relevant qualifications. The position includes a pathway to complete a BSc in Commercial Real Estate and supports apprenticeships, ensuring comprehensive training and professional development.
You’ll be part of a team delivering a full range of property management services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, and retail properties. A key feature of our programme is early and consistent client exposure—giving you the opportunity to build relationships and develop confidence in real-world settings from the outset.
You’ll also collaborate closely with our ESG, Facilities Management, Property Accounting, and Building Surveying teams, gaining broad exposure across disciplines. As part of the programme, you’ll earn your IOSH certificate and attend external events and forums.
This position is full-time, with on-the-job training, complemented by attendance to external events and forums.
As a Management Surveyor you will oversee the day to day running and management of a varied portfolio of commercial property ranging from retail, office and industrial. You’ll be responsible for providing landlords and tenants specialist advice on things such as lease obligations, repairs, and maintenance works, whilst overseeing the management of rental and other income owed by the tenant. You will be working with the client (landlords) to help enhance the value of their portfolios when required. Our clients are principally large institutional firms (pension funds, insurance companies etc.) and property companies.
