Job summary

Inotiv is seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Technician for its Hillcrest site (Belton, NW Leicestershire). The role runs Mon-Fri 8-4 with a starting salary of £27,000.

You will learn to maintain building services, HVAC and electrical systems while supporting engineers in day-to-day maintenance tasks. The programme includes on-the-job training, college courses, mentoring, and potential career progression on successful completion.

Qualifications

• Interest in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
• Experience in engineering/maintenance environment is advantageous.
• Good practical skills with tools and equipment.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Able to drive and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planned maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs on building services and systems.
• Learn to maintain HVAC and electrical systems.
• Support installation and repair activities under supervision.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures at all times.
• Attend college and training courses as part of apprenticeship.
