Job summary

Vertu Volvo Taunton is offering an exciting apprenticeship for an Light Vehicle Technician. You will learn in a busy Volvo workshop, gaining hands-on experience while working towards a Level 3 qualification and receiving manufacturer training.

You'll perform servicing, health checks, and assist with diagnostics, while documenting workshop work and developing technician skills that lead to a qualified technician role within the company.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above, or equivalent.
• One additional GCSE at grade 4 or above (or equivalent).
• Commitment to training and developing automotive skills.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and maintenance tasks on vehicles.
• Performing health checks and visual inspections.
• Assisting with repairs and diagnostic work.
• Completing workshop documentation accurately.
• Learning from experienced Volvo technicians on complex repairs.
