Job summary

Vertu BMW Sunderland is recruiting an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop skills in maintenance and repair work on a range of vehicles within a busy passenger car workshop.

You will perform inspections, assist with diagnostics with the help of System Technicians, and complete necessary documentation while embracing the brand values and delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE or equivalent in Maths/English and one other (Grade 4/C or above).
• All apprentices undertake a Manufacturer accredited qualification up to Level 3 in Automotive Repair.
• Training includes blocks of 1 week per module at Manufacturer training center with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair work, visual inspections on customer vehicles.
• Complete relevant documentation.
• Work with System Technicians on more complex and extensive diagnostic tasks.
