Job summary

Vertu Volvo Plymouth is recruiting an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician to join the busy Plymouth team. This role offers hands-on maintenance and repair experience on a range of cars, with a clear path to a Level 3 Manufacturer-accredited qualification.

You will work in a Passenger Car workshop, developing skills while representing the brand and delivering high-quality customer service. Training blocks include weeks away at Manufacturer training centers and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English and one other subject at Grade 4/C or higher.
• Interest in the motor industry and a passion for cars.
• Willingness to undertake Manufacturer-accredited Level 3 training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair work, and visual inspections on customer vehicles.
• Complete relevant documentation and logs for each job.
• Collaborate with System Technicians on diagnostics and more complex tasks.
• Demonstrate a proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
