Job summary

Vertu Kia Barnsley is seeking an Apprentice Light Vehicle Technician to join a busy Passenger Car workshop. You will gain hands-on experience in maintenance, repair and inspections while working with modern vehicles and branded service standards.

The apprenticeship leads to a Manufacturer-accredited Level 3 qualification in Automotive Repair, with blocks of training at a manufacturer center, including overnight stays and progression opportunities in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above is required.
• GCSEs in Maths/English with an additional subject are accepted.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on vehicles.
• Perform visual inspections and complete relevant documentation.
• Work with system technicians on diagnostic tasks.
