Job summary

Freshfields welcomes applicants to join the Manchester hub as an Apprentice Legal Solutions Specialist. You will be supervised by the Operations Manager and work within a supportive team across legal services, data handling, and AI-enabled workflows.

Expect training, exposure to multiple areas of law, and potential short-term secondments within the Global Centre. You will contribute to a culture of quality, uphold Freshfields' standards, and support global client mandates with diligence.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs including English and Maths at grades 9–4 or A*-C; English and Maths required.
• UCAS points: 96 (CCC) or equivalent UK/international qualification.
• A keen interest in law with willingness to learn and develop in a hub environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the hub with varied legal services to global fee earners.
• Undertake regular training across multiple areas of legal services and solutions.
• Develop skills with AI, legal technology, data handling and processing.
• Assist with continuous improvement and document handling tasks.
• Maintain logs and time records, and work with stakeholders across the business.
