Job summary

Addleshaw Goddard LLP in Manchester is seeking an experienced Legal Technologist to join the Legal Technology Consulting pillar. You will advise on and implement legal technology solutions, support clients, and help shape technology strategy across in-house teams and the Firm's clients.

The role involves working with the ILT team to deliver innovative solutions, contribute to market knowledge, and train teams on new tools, including GenAI.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent required.
• Experience in a global law firm or professional consulting environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of legal technology software and configuration of tools.
• Experience providing consulting on technology strategies and solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with urgency and proactivity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Scope and support creation of pitches and proposals for client consulting projects.
• Deliver chargeable consulting work for clients with Senior Manager guidance.
• Lead workshops to gather requirements and map processes.
• Configure and implement technical solutions; provide training on tech trends including GenAI.
• Keep knowledge of legal tech market up to date and share insights.
• Develop new solutions and proofs of concept for in-house legal tools.
• Coordinate across Firm teams to promote Legal Tech Consulting services.
