Job summary

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is seeking an Apprentice Legal Solutions Specialist in Manchester. You will join the Hub team, receive broad exposure across transactions and legal areas, and work under supervision to develop practical skills in legal services, AI applications, and data handling.

The role emphasizes training across multiple areas, strong written and oral communication, and opportunities for secondments and future progression within the Freshfields Hub.

Qualifications

• Five GCSEs including English and maths (minimum 9–4).
• UCAS points: 96 (CCC) or equivalent UK/international qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide varied legal services to global fee earners as part of the Hub team.
• Undertake regular training across multiple legal services areas.
• Develop skills in AI, legal technology, data handling and processing.
• Assist with continuous improvement and maintain daily activity logs.
• Carry out core tasks: due diligence reviews, document review, proofreading, data entry, research, and bundle preparation.
