Manchester-based law firm is seeking a Professional Support Lawyer to focus on commercial contracts and data protection, supporting knowledge management, AI adoption, and training across the practice.

The role requires a qualified solicitor or equivalent with strong experience and the ability to develop precedents, materials, and client-facing content for a broad team range. Hybrid working is offered to balance home and office commitments.

Qualifications

Experience in commercial contracts and data protection.
Ability to research and interpret complex points of law.
Interest in legal knowledge management, innovation, technology and AI in legal services.
Comfortable developing precedents, practice materials, training and client-facing legal content.

Responsibilities

Leading and developing know-how across commercial contracts and data protection, keeping teams informed of important legal developments.
Developing precedents, practice notes, working practices and knowledge resources with lawyers and wider teams.
Advising on the use of AI tools and innovation initiatives.
Identifying learning needs and delivering training and supporting materials to lawyers and wider teams.
Producing client content including legal updates, articles and briefings.
