A primary school in Liverpool is seeking a committed Apprentice Learning Support Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will provide personalized support to students with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis while collaborating closely with teaching staff to ensure effective learning. This position requires at least a GCSE in English and Maths, along with the ability to build respectful relationships with pupils. The role offers part-time employment along with training and development opportunities.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Apprentice Learning Support Assistant to join our team providing key SEN support within the classroom on a 1 : 1 basis and working closely with other teaching staff to ensure provision is effective and that learning needs are met.
As an Apprentice Learning Support Assistant you’ll provide personalised SEN provision on a 1 : 1 basis supporting the pupil in accessing the curriculum at an appropriate level and adapting the learning to make it accessible for students with specific needs. This role also involves providing pastoral support and you’ll monitor progress to feed back to the class teacher whilst working closely with relevant staff to ensure an individual can achieve to the fullest extent.
We’ve partnered with BeReady a trusted provider of online training programmes for school staff who will support you through the Level 3 Teaching Assistant with SEND programme.
As an Apprentice Learning Support Assistant within Knotty Ash Primary School you’ll be able to make a key difference to a pupil’s educational experience as a crucial part of the wider team and will have the opportunity to develop your skillset with key training and development opportunities available.
