Greene King Community Pubs are seeking an Apprentice Kitchen Team Leader to motivate and guide our front-of-house teams, ensuring every team member knows their stuff and aims to wow customers with service excellence.

You’ll learn through a work-based apprenticeship, develop leadership and organisational skills, and help create community-focused experiences—from quizzes to music evenings—while upholding food hygiene and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams during busy service.
• Willing to undertake apprenticeship and work-based training.
• Commitment to food safety, hygiene and brand standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to brand standards.
• Support and guide the kitchen team during service.
• Deputise for the Kitchen Manager when required.
• Ensure all food hygiene and safety standards are met.
• Monitor stock levels and kitchen organisation.
