Greene King is seeking an Apprentice Kitchen Team Leader for Community Pubs. You will inspire front-of-house teams, ensure excellent customer care, and help deliver memorable experiences with a focus on food quality and community engagement.

The apprenticeship emphasizes hands-on training in a busy kitchen, with mentorship, and development of leadership and organisational skills across quizzes, music events, and community activities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a front-of-house or kitchen team.
• Ability to organize service and maintain high performance during busy shifts.
• Commitment to food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to brand standards, ensuring every dish is served with pride.
• Support and guide the kitchen team, helping to organise service and maintain high performance during busy shifts.
• Deputise for the Kitchen Manager or senior chefs when required, helping to resolve issues and keep service running smoothly.
• Ensure all food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Monitor stock levels, food preparation, and kitchen organisation to ensure efficient service.
