Job summary

Mitie is seeking an Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer to join the team covering London and surrounding areas. You will learn on the job while studying a 3-year course, balancing college weeks with practical site work.

You will work with a qualified engineer, perform routine service tasks on fire and security systems, and develop the skills to eventually become fully qualified. Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade 4+ required.
• Full, manual UK driving licence required.
• A Level or BTEC suitable, electrical qualification advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fire, intruder, CCTV and access control systems.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and small works.
• Support engineers and contribute to accurate quotations for chargeable works.
• Maintain records and deliver high standards of customer service.
