Job summary

Mitie is recruiting an Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer to cover London and surrounding areas. You will learn on the job and study a 3-year course while assisting experienced engineers in maintenance, installation and call-outs.

The role focuses on fire, intruder, CCTV and access control systems, with responsibilities including routine servicing, accurate quoting, and keeping records, while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• A Level or BTEC qualification preferred; electrical background advantageous.
• GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or higher required.
• Willingness to study and complete the 3-year apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and installation of fire & security systems.
• Support engineers with routine servicing and call-outs.
• Aid in quoting chargeable works with detailed information.
• Maintain accurate records and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Progress through the Fire & Security Systems qualification.
