Acorn Aluminium have a great opportunity for a talented person to join our Sales and Estimating team in Nottingham. The role will train you in all aspects of working with customers, from initial enquiry to order, for our various façade solutions and systems.

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Senior Estimator in analysing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
2. Gather and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes for materials and services.
3. Support the team in maintaining accurate records of estimates, calculations, and assumptions.
4. Work with the design and engineering teams to identify cost-effective solutions.
5. Develop an understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation processes.
6. Help monitor project budgets and track costs against initial estimates under the guidance of the Senior Estimator.
7. Stay up-to-date with market trends, materials, and supplier pricing.

Vacancy information

Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30.
40 hours per week.

College day release starts September 2025 at Basford Campus delivered one day per week during term time.
