Job description

Main duties include:

1. Assist the Senior Estimator in analysing tender documents, drawings, and specifications to prepare cost estimates.
2. Gather and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes for materials and services.
3. Support the team in maintaining accurate records of estimates, calculations, and assumptions.
4. Work with the design and engineering teams to identify cost-effective solutions.
5. Develop an understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation processes.
6. Help monitor project budgets and track costs against initial estimates under the guidance of the Senior Estimator.
7. Stay up-to-date with market trends, materials, and supplier pricing.

You will also have the opportunity to enrol onto a paid Level 3 Construction Support Technician course held at Basford college one day a week, for 2 academic years.
