Job summary

Maxflow Power Products in Cookstown is offering an Apprenticeship for an Apprentice Engineering Operative (Level 2). This hands-on program combines practical training with a recognised Level 2 qualification in Engineering, run in partnership with Northern Regional College.

You will learn across welding, CNC machining, fabrication and electronics, working on chassis, components and pressure washers, with clear pathways for career development within a growing company.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade 4/C or above, including Maths, Science and English.
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
  • Strong verbal and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on, practical work in fabricating chassis and components.
  • Assemble engine-driven pressure washers and use welding and CNC machinery.

Apprentice Engineering Operative (Level 2 Apprenticeship)

This apprenticeship, run in partnership with Northern Regional College, allows you to earn while you learn, gaining a recognised Level 2 qualification in Engineering. About the role

As an Apprentice Engineering Operative, you'll dive straight into the heart of our manufacturing process. Your day-to-day will involve hands-on, practical work, from fabricating chassis and product components to assembling engine-driven pressure washers. You will get to use state-of-the-art welding and CNC machinery, applying skills in sheet metal work, tubing fabrication, and electronics.

This role is all about learning by doing. You'll gain a solid educational foundation and a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Engineering without the university route, all while getting paid.
