Working Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Role Overview:

This apprenticeship involves learning to carry out planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair on mechanical and electrical plant and equipment, including:

• Electrical building tests
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding
• Refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Steam, heating, and ventilation equipment
• Industrial boilers, pumps, and controls
• Domestic hot water and water distribution systems
• Steam distribution systems
• Compressed air systems
• Condition monitoring and thermography

Person Specification:

• Qualifications in Maths, English, and a Science or craft-based subject to a minimum grade C
• Articulate, numerate, and IT literate
• Good communication skills
• Resilient under pressure and confident in engaging with staff, suppliers, and customers at all levels
