Salendine Nook High School is seeking a motivated candidate to begin a career in education and SEN/SEND support. You will work closely with the SENCo and SEND team to provide high-quality classroom and targeted support for students with SEND, including those with EHCPs.
The role involves supporting students in the classroom and provision spaces within the school, helping them access learning, build independence, and overcome barriers.

Working closely withthe SENCo and wider SEND team, the successful candidate will providehigh-quality classroom and targeted support for students with Special EducationalNeeds and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Education, Health and CarePlans (EHCPs).
The role will involve supportingstudents within the classroom and, where required, within provision spaceswithin the wider school. You will play a key role in helping students accesslearning, develop independence, and overcome barriers. Through acting as apositive role model, the successful candidate will promote inclusion,confidence and a strong sense of belonging for all students.
This role includes enrolment on arecognised Teaching Assistant apprenticeship programme with Let Me Play Education. You will receivestructured training, gain valuable practical experience, and develop the skillsand knowledge required to succeed in a career within education. During theapprenticeship, you will also have the opportunity to develop an understandingof how student progress and provision are monitored across the department,alongside dedicated time to complete assigned apprenticeship tasks andassignments.
